I had severe hyperhidrosis along with neurological symptoms such as arhhythmia, rapid heart rate, migraines and muscle twitching. I went through all the regular treatments including robinul, klonopin, drysol, and botox without luck.

After fifteen years of going to various specialists, I had the ETS surgery done. It went well but after 2-3 years the hyperhidrosis and Raynaud’s syndrome (cold limbs) began to return.

In my case these symptoms were caused by allergies to wheat and dairy (Celiac disease) and mercury toxicity. These lead to depletion of certain amino acids and enzymes, and malabsorption of B vitamins and minerals, especially magnesium.

After eliminating grains and dairy from my diet, the symptoms have gone away. I have been taking supplements as well. Sometime in the future I will be having amalgam fillings replaced, including root canals.

If you search, you will find several sources which mention hyperhidrosis as a symptom of mercury poisoning. This can be related to wheat and dairy allergies (gluten and casein) because mercury inhibits DPP-IV, an enzyme needed to digest these foods.

i wore a sleeved shirt to the mall one night .
and i wore a lot of deodarant i use lady speed stick and it says antiperpirant deodarant on it but apparently not .
becuase even tho it wasn’t hot i couldn’t stop sweating … and it was disgusting . i look over at my friend melissa and she’s fine . no sweat or anythingg . what should i do ? its disgusting and smells gross …

sweating is a natural action so you are not going to be able to stop it completely – anti perspirants are there to help

make sure you wash under your arms (but don’t scrub) – sometimes having a quick shower is not enough, apply anti perspirant to clean skin (the product is not a miracle worker you have to give it a chance)

what material was your shirt? – anything which is man made or has a high percentage will make you sweat more, particularly nylon, so try and keep to cotton

I sweat a lot even when its super freezing my armpits are hot and I’m not even wearing a lot of clothes. Its very embarrassing someone please help! :>

Have you tried the new prescription strength deodorants? I think degree has one, and so does secret, they are a lot stronger than regular deodorants and you can get them in the regular deodorant aisle at the store. Give them a try, they are a little more expensive, but if you are extra sweaty, it is worth it!!
